First update yeet


No screenshots just yet because I'm dragging my feet a little on drawing the backgrounds, I don't want to show off a screenshot of the game where everyone's vibin in the void, BUT

Day two of development and I've made a lot of progress. Blasting through drawing the needed assets (bar the dreaded backgrounds) and I'm making great headway on the gameplay itself. I read pretty fast, and I'm managing to get a good 4-5 minutes of game with what I worked on yesterday - doesn't sound like a whole lot, but I'm pretty pleased with myself.

Game's well on it's way - I would LOVE to say a super early release but while I'm ahead I'm not rushing myself. I have plenty of time before the deadline, and I'd rather use it to make sure the game, yknow, runs.

Re-testing every tree is getting tedious- just because it boots doesn't mean it hasn't decided my indentation wasn't a microfraction out of line half way through a random test - but hey what can you do?

I'll be rolling a first build out to beta testers in the next couple days! (Beta testers are already chosen)
